观音菩萨是佛教中最被世人熟知的一位女性神灵，因菩萨慈悲济世、护持众生的救度本质，使观音信仰遍及佛教弘传的每一个地方，“家家观世音”就是对观音信仰盛行的最好诠释。此像挽传统贵妇发髻，头戴兜帽。面庞丰润，双目低垂，鼻梁高挺，表情肃穆。上身胸前佩戴项链，着通肩垂领长袍，衣褶自然写实，富有动感。左手轻置于右臂弯处，右手搭于左手之下。双腿呈站立姿态，脚下为碧波大海。整像铜料细腻，做工精湛，其造型的风格特征与清代内地造像风格一致。更兼保存完好，非常难得。
