款 识：恭寿。耕石蔡子壁。禹之鼎谨书。|钤 印：蔡子壁印（白） 耕石（朱）禹之鼎印（白） |说 明：蔡子壁题引首||蔡子璧： 字六如，号耕石，平定东关人。幼年好学不倦，长于金石之学。嘉庆二十四年（1819）中举，次年庚辰科联捷进士。历任户部主事、侍郎、广东道监察御史、天津知府等职。|禹之鼎（1647－1716），字上吉，号慎斋，江都（今扬州）人。《图绘宝鉴续集》记载他“幼师蓝氏（瑛）笔墨，后出入宋元诸家，凡临摹旧本无不乱真。又善写照，一时称绝”。他是康熙年间著名的人物画家，以画供奉入直畅春园，官鸿胪寺序班。他曾随册使至琉球，声名远播，一时名人多请他画像。他的画以白描为主，略施晕染，娟秀古雅。
