|说明：熏炉整体铸成母子麒麟状，麒麟四肢健硕矫捷，侧身回首，双目圆睁，张口露利齿，气势威武强悍，颈系铃铛，又显得温驯服从。鬃髯卷曲，盘旋如螺髻。尾部及腿际鬃毛随风飘展，雕刻入微，丝丝毕现。背部炉顶上卧一幼年麒麟，顾盼相望，妙趣横生。熏炉分体铸造，以幼年麒麟为盖，成年麒麟为炉身，腹部中空，可承香料。燃香时，烟气袅袅飘出，设计巧妙，极为难得。自古以来，铜器皆为皇家所重视，它组成了封建宗族礼仪不可或缺的一部分，凡是以铜为质地的器物，均代表了一定的祭祀或礼仪的内涵，自商周兴起之青铜器，到战汉时期的错金银铜器，铜铸器物一旦制作出来，便是个中重器，无论陈列陈设，皆地位高贵。
