|在藏传佛教中，金刚总持的地位十分尊崇，有多个派别都将金刚持奉为本教派教法的源头，尤以萨迦派和噶举派为最。此尊头束高发髻，佩戴五叶冠饰，冠饰造型形如涌莲枝蔓，繁复华美，生动异常。面形瘦长，额头宽平，细眉上挑，双目微阖，鼻梁挺括，显露出寂静空灵的法性本质。上身躯体袒露，佩戴钏镯等各种饰物。手中分持金刚铃和金刚杵，为此尊的典型特征。下身绸裙紧裹双腿，质感轻薄，双腿跏趺端坐于莲台之上，莲瓣为上下两层与佛像为分体铸造比例精确，鎏金华美，做工精湛，铜质细腻，十分值得珍藏。
