Three agate snuff bottles


19th centuryIncluding a pebble-form bottle displaying natural concentrated rings and ripples in brown, red, buff, and grayish-green coloration; the second and third both well-hollowed, one carved through the opaque brown inclusions in the russet stone on one side, depicting a katydid on a cage; the third a moss agate bottle carved with two faux lion mask-and-ring handles.2 to 2 3/8in (5.1 to 6cm) high
