Two jade snuff bottles


19th centuryThe first a rounded, un-decorated bottle executed from a grayish-white matrix mottled with pale russet and darker gray inclusions; the second a well-hollowed baluster form bottle with a finely finished foot ring, the side walls vividly carved in relief with four boys at play, the stone suffused with russet and cloud-like inclusions. 2 and 2 3/8in (5.1 and 6cm) high
