Late Qing/Republic periodThe first molded on either side with a slightly recessed convex panel, similarly painted with a garden scene including rocks, flowers, bamboo, and an insect on a grassy bank, each side with two seal marks, surrounded by an underglaze-blue floral design on the narrow sides and around the neck, the lip painted in gold over brownish-red, the foot inscribed with an apocryphal Da Qing Qianlong nian zhi mark; the second a high-shouldered meiping form bottle with a wide mouth, thin and gilt heightened lip, the side walls painted in blue enamel with three tiers of lotus petals, each petal framing a flower blossom and leaf scrolls, the recessed foot bearing an apocryphal Jiaqing nian zhi mark.2 3/8 and 2 1/4in (6 and 5.7cm) high
