|作者：匡源（1815-1881），山东胶州人，晚清大臣，咸丰帝顾命八大臣之一。祺祥政变后，罢官还乡，主讲于山东济南泺源书院。||说明：匡源手迹传世不多，此件为匡源致稚玉谈《玉函山房辑佚书》印刷事。清代济南学者马国翰生前编辑《玉函山房辑佚书》，该书辑佚书594种，为辑书史上的空前巨著，但因马国翰去世未能刊行。匡源后来为此书的补全出版而奔走，并作序，序中谈及原委：马先生殁后，板归章丘李氏，已有散失，稚玉驾部印行数十部，其书始显于世。既而求者日多，丁中丞稚璜、文中丞质夫先后为补刊。本件拍品，可考证匡源和稚玉在该丛书印刷过程的史实。
