A small Chinese white jade carving with patches of brown skin dating from the 18th century. The jade is carved in the shape of a mountain with a boy ascending steps on 1 side and rocky outcroppings delineated on the reverse. The carving is attached to a wooden stand. Dimensions are: the jade measures 1 1/4 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The jade has been glued into the stand, the piece is in otherwise good condition.
