|筒炉造型敦厚大方，通体呈蟹壳青色，平口微敛，炉身呈直筒状，下承矮圈足，玉璧形底。颈部两侧置狮首耳，狮首造型纹理明晰，线条流畅干练，鬣毛卷曲，呈庄重严肃之象。口沿上下饰双弦纹两组，内錾刻缠枝花卉纹样。炉身底部造型圆润，并雕莲花双层侧花瓣为饰，与上侧缠枝莲纹样遥相呼应，使整个铜炉，线条更显柔和流畅。整器皮色深沉，造型简素利落，呈古朴文雅之趣。|狮子为百兽之王，宣皇尝以此炉赐给兵部尚书及大都督等军职人员，故武职人员适用此炉，又文殊菩萨骑狮，亦适宜收此炉供奉。
