|此形仿自商周青铜觚，原为五供之一，五供是一组佛龛供案上供奉祭祀用品，由一香炉，二烛台和二花觚组成。清宫内佛堂众多，各种材质的五供也为数不少，但是大多数保留在宫中，外流出宫者至今尚保存成套者甚少，往往散失不全。该觚虽与其他四供在流传中分开，然所幸其品相无损，殊为可贵。此件器物胎质油腻，釉面光润，以缠枝、蕉叶、和变形莲瓣纹组成。精工细料，富有立体感，远观之如佳人亭亭玉立。
