|在中原佛教造像中，观音造像通常是是女性形象，留有长髯的男性形象极为少见。此尊造像即为留有短髯的男相观音，观音面相饱满额宽，法眼微闭，内着坎衣，外披汉式袈裟，衣纹厚重，均匀铺于双腿间，全跏趺坐，双目细长，直鼻薄唇，神情肃穆而恬静。|通体漆金，金色古朴。此类造像在明代题材较少，存世量也不多，为明代观音木造像中的上品。
