ϒEnglish School, early 19th century, portrait of a girl with blonde ringlets, watercolour on ivory, engraved to the outer frame Right Honble. Arabella Townsend (sic), 5cm x 4cm, oval, in a plain gilt metal oval frame with plaited hair to obverse and reverse; and English School, early 19th century, portrait of a lady with a hair ribbon tied under her chin, watercolour on ivory, inscribed verso Countess of Leicester afterwards Marchioness Townshend née Ellerker, 6.8cm x 5.8cm, oval, in a plain gilt metal oval frame Lord, later Marquess, Townshend married Charlotte, daughter of Eaton Mainwaring-Ellerker, on 24th December 1777, who had adopted the name and arms of Ellerker by a 1750 Act of Parliament.
