A silver ring with D-section hoop widening to support an oval bezel with a female portrait bust in relief, fleshy face and hair tied back; possibly Arsinoe II. 12.37 grams, 26.75mm overall, 20.25mm internal diameter (approximate size British U 1/2, USA 10 1/2, Europe 23.59 Japan 22) (1"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s. Fine condition. A large wearable size.
