A collection of gem-set rings, 18th century - 19th century


Comprising a 19th century amethyst ring, composite, set centrally with a cushion-shaped amethyst, with a similarly-shaped pink gemstone to each cardinal point, with scroll detailing, foiled and closed-back settings throughout, a garnet mourning ring, circa 1810, set with a garnet cabochon within an eternal snake surround, the snake with black enamel detailing, between shoulders of similar design, the reverse with memorial inscription, a garnet and diamond ring, circa 1825, with foliate detailing, together with two blue enamel rings and a diamond ring, all mounted in gold, pearls untested, ring sizes approx.
