the timepiece in the Empire taste, the drum case with 3.2" engine turned Roman dial surmounted by a pedestal basket and supported by twin cornucopia and cylindrical column supports and a rear foliate cast lyre, the oval platform base with bun feet, the brass movement striking on a gong, with scroll pierced pendulum, the candlesticks formed as wing putti holding aloft foliate scrolling, on waisted circular base, the clock, 30cm high, the candlesticks 33cm high (3)
