the deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a gently flaring rim,painted to the exterior with two dragons striding in pursuit of the "flaming pearl" divided by phoenix in flight reserved on a leafy floral ground,all below a band of auspicious emblem and ruyi at the rim,the interior with a medallion enclosing five bats,the base with a six character mark in underglaz blue D.6 1/8in.(15.6cm), H.2 7/8in.(7.3cm) Condition: in overall fair condition,there are several restored chips to the rim, the largest measuring approx. 1.5 cm wide; one of the chips along associated with a faint hairline.
