A Kangxi famille verte plate with images of roses, other flowers, birds, and butterflies painted within 8 sections of a scalloped rim. A central image of a phoenix flying over a "Kirin" fills the well of the plate. The underside has red flowers on 3 sets of sparsely leafed branches, and a flower mark in double circle ring underside D: 8 1/2" (21.6cm) Condition: in good condition with one "flea-bite" on the side of one scalloped edge.
