A George III pine and ochre-painted boarded bowed settle, West Country/South Wales, circa 1800


The ends shaped differently, one a rectangular board with internal arm rest, the other of traditional winged-form, the back of three broad boards and with a single-piece seat, the painted finish, probably original, slightly combed to simulate timber grain, 132cm wide x 41cm deep x 174.5cm high, (51 1/2in wide x 16in deep x 68 1/2in high)
