海南黄花梨为材，木色入蜜，纹理舒朗。几面打槽装板，面板双拼；束腰，下承三弯腿。整体连做牙条，形似明代壸门，如意卷草纹一气呵成，线条流畅。炕几在明清两代的使用最普遍，设计特别讲究，通常在炕床之上，主要用来放置用品或装饰品，是集实用与欣赏价值于一体的典型明式家具。
