圆形，半球形钮，柿蒂纹钮座。双线凹面界格和博局纹将镜背分成四区，青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武（龟与蛇）四神纹各占一方。四枚凹乳配饰其中，青龙身形矫健，遨游太虚。白虎四肢健硕，奔走山林。朱雀尾羽蹁跹，姿态优雅。玄武头颈高昂，畅游海洋。空隙处以云气填充。近缘处为变形几何纹进行装饰。神兽造型十分精美，方中带圆，形似拙，实则精，刻画繁缛，面面俱到，质朴中可见苍萃凝厉，超越现代设计，展现巧夺天工。此镜版模精细，纹饰线条细腻流畅，地张平整，传神地表达了瑞兽威猛矫健。光亮圆润，品相难得，表现艺术效果好。
