圆形，圆钮，凸弦纹钮座。主纹以兽为界，将纹饰分为四区作对称状排列，一组为东王公，相对的一组为西王母，两旁有龙虎兽守护；另外相对的两组纹饰或许是黄帝和伯牙弹琴。外接半圆方枚，外有三角锯齿纹。镜缘分为内外两圈。内圈为仙人驾龙车出行图，仙人端坐在龙车上，身边鸾鸟、仆从环绕，前后仙人跨龙骑凤，列队跟随。外圈为勾连缠绕的蔓枝状几何纹。此镜纹饰区鎏金，历经千年依然金光灿灿，版模精细，浮雕精致，刻画细腻，熠熠生辉。镜像的浅浮雕，飘逸舒展，工艺精致，可谓是铜镜高超工艺水平之经典。
