A Chinese, porcelain basin with: red, pink, yellow, and blue latticework sides dividing the well and lip which are each painted with panel illustrations of figures in conversation alternating with flowers and birds on a background of gold with green, pink, and yellow floral decoration. The outer wall is treated much more simply with sprays of pink and red flowers under the curve of the lip, on a simple white background. Condition: in good condition with some lose of enamel H.4 in.(10.2cm), D.10 3/4in.(27.3cm)
