A Chinese porcelain bowl decorated in the Cantonese manner with groups of colorfully robed, predominantly female figures, interacting with one another in a continuously painted outdoor scene. The interior of the bowl has a thick band of foliage, flowers, & birds, with a spray of purple-pink flowers and leaves in the bottom of the well. Provenance: from a private Connecticut collector H.2 5/8in.(6.5cm), D.5 1/2in.(14cm) Condition: in good condition with a minor restored chip and overpainted under the dark light (can't be seen by eyes)
