A tall necked indigo colored vase with matching/ mirror images of two dragons approaching each other amidst flames and clouds painted in gold. A band of stylized grass wraps around the bottom. A band of peonies and leaves wraps around the base of the neck. A traditional pattern of geometric spirals circles around the base of the mouth. Six red characters mark the underside. H.9 1/4 in.(23.5 cm) Condition: in good condition only the gilding is faded due to its age Condition: This vase doesn't appear to be structurally damaged since the time of firing, but the base of the foot is irregularly shaped, as though the clay stuck to some surface before being put in the kiln. The glaze in this are is also uneven. The gold paint on the body and neck has worn in areas.
