款识：三五年四月二十四日 瑞阶画|钤印：谢瑞阶印（白）老人（朱） |谢瑞阶（1902-2000），曾用名谢宝树，号就简老人，笔名黄河老人，河南省巩义市焦湾村人。中国现代著名国画家、书法家、教育家。曾任河南省文联副主席、河南省美术家协会主席、河南省书法家协会主席、中国文联委员、中国美术家协会理事、中国书法家协会理事等。其创作的《大河上下浩浩长春》陈列于人民大会堂，被公认为是黄河画的杰作，是现代山水画发展的里程碑。
