A COLLECTION OF EARLY MEISSEN PORCELAIN, 18th Century, comprising a rare 'café-au-lait'-ground teabowl, circa 1740, painted with sprays of stylised flowers in puce, 7.7cm diameter, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed number 4 and Dreher's mark of three circles for Gottfried Seydel inside the footrim, together with a teacup and saucer, circa 1770, both painted with sprays of flowers and scattered blooms, with a green and gilt mosaic-ground borders to the rims edged with puce and blue scrollwork, gilt-line rims, the saucer 13.4cm diameter, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, the cup with impressed numeral 52, and a Marcolini tea canister and cover painted in puce with sprays and scattered sprigs of flowers, with a domed cover, 10.3cm high, crossed swords and star mark in underglaze-blue (the cover later) (4)
