A CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN FIGURAL CENTREPIECE OR STAND, late 19th Century, probably Rudolstadt Volkstedt, later converted into a lamp base, modelled as two female figures standing back-to-back with their arms linked, wearing white patterned dresses and holding sprays of flowers, raised on a column with a stylised piano key border and moulded with a laurel wreath to the front, raised on a square plinth base, 30cm high, crossed forks and R mark in underglaze-blue (restoration to top, drilled to base)
