FOUR SEALED WINE BOTTLES, early 19th Century, each of dark olive tint and cylindrical form, comprising a 'Trinity College Common Room' bottle applied to the centre with a moulded seal inscribed 'T.C.C.R.', a bottle with a 'MIDDLE TEMPLE' seal, and two bottles with 'INNER TEMPLE' horse seals, including one half-bottle, the tallest 30.3cm high (chip to rim and footrim of Inner Temple bottle) (4)Literature: See David Burton, 'Antique Sealed Bottles 1640 -1900 and the Families that Owned Them' (2014), vol.
