Qing Dynasty, the well-patinated rich caramel-yellow stone of natural pebble form, the irregular side skillfully carved with several chilong amidst ruyi clouds in pursuit of a flaming pearl, on the reverse side inscription says Qianlong Yu ti(calligraphy by the emperor's hand), year of Bing Chen(1796), made by Nei Wu Fu(House of internal affairs), the seal face carved with a three tiers of characters inscription, with base and box. Height 2 1/2 in., 6.3cm, Width 4 in., 10cm, Weight 27 1/2 oz, 781.6g. Provenance: John Lee, a dedicated seal collector residing in Atlanta GA, has travelled to many Asian countries since the60s, where he acquired many exquisite and antique seal chops, with base and box.
