Qing Dynasty, the globular body supported on three cabriole legs issuing from mythical beast masks, waisted neck with a galleried rim, flanked by a pair of dragon handles, decorated around the body in sections withcranes and mythical beast amidst ruyi shape clouds, separated by floral sprays, the domed cover similarly decorated with leafy lotus blooms enclosed by ruyi-shaped panels, against a pierced ground of 'shou' motifs,all beneath a sleeping elephant surmounted by a double-gourd knop, the base with four-character Qianlong mark.
