Green and yellow "Dragon" bowl Chinese, possibly Ming Dynasty strongly incised and enamelled in green with two-five claw dragons, each guarding a flaming pearl against scattered ruyi style clouds above a band of lotus palmettes, the foot rim with a single green line, the interior glazed white with anhua decoration of two dragons and ruyi heads, foot with a four character mark of Zhengde (1506-21) within double rings 21.6cm diameter x 10.1cm high for similar bowls, Christie's lot 88 6th May 1980; Metropolitan Museum, New York, illustrated by S.
