Wood and ivory okimono Japanese, late Meiji carved as a Mongolian traveller astride a camel, the figure seated between humps and wears a jacket and bloomer style trousers, the head with a turban headdress, hands are holding a staff, feet with laced boots, water bottle and two packages attached to front and back of jacket, all in well detailed ivory, on wood stand 24cm x 21cm
