A LARGE CHILONG BRONZE CENSER, QINGChina, 1780-1880. The massive vessel raised from a sprawling foot with a recessed base bearing a six-character Xuande mark inside a dragon medallion. Two Chilong serve as handles, their tails sinuously curling along the walls. Provenance: Canadian private collection. By repute in the same family since the 1970s. Condition: Good condition with soiling residue inside, minor nicks and dents here and there, old wear.
