FOUR JAPANESE WOOD NETSUKE EDO AND MEIJI PERIOD Two in light-coloured sandalwood, one depicting a tall sennin with a coat of mugwort leaves and holding a Chinese fan, the other carved as Hotei holding a large sack over his shoulder, the two others in dark wood, one carved as the Chinese general Kan'u with his guandao sword, and the other carved as an old woman, possibly Ono no Komachi, 9.3cm max.
