A large Longquan celadon-glazed dish


14th centurySturdily potted, the gently rounded sides rising from a short foot, the interior carved with stylised lotus in the centre encircled by further scrolling lotus, the underside undecorated, covered overall with a lustrous olive-green glaze except the wide ring on the recessed base burnt russet in the firing. 46.4cm (18 1/4in) diam.
