19th centuryThe translucent jade deftly carved in the interior with large, fleshy, unfurling sunflower petals with finely incised lines, the recessed base further carved with rows of petals resembling a chrysanthemum, the stone of deep-green tone with some dark patches. 28.5cm (11 1/4in) diam.
