Chinese Paintings from the Collection of Dr Chung Quin Yuen (1933 - 2018)Chinese Paintings from the Collection of Dr Chung Quin Yuen (1933 - 2018) 鐘炯源（1933 – 2018）醫生收藏的中國書畫Lot 43 to 54Dr Chung Quin Yuen, a psychiatrist by trade, but a scholar and avid art collector at heart, formed strong bonds of friendship with Lingnan School artists when he resided and worked in Hong Kong in the 1980s, thus many paintings in Dr Chung's collection bear dedication to him directly from the artist. Also a passionate photographer, he first served as Vice President, then President of Hong Kong's Photographic Salon Exhibitors Association from 1984 to 1987, thereafter relocating to Australia. In 2015 and 2016, Bonhams Hong Kong and Sydney offices offered some of Dr Chung's collection of Chinese paintings, manuscripts, and works of art, all achieving outstanding results. On the passing of Dr Chung, Bonhams Sydney is honoured to offer the remaining of Dr Chung's collection of Chinese paintings, hoping to celebrate Dr Chung's life as a connoisseur with likeminded collectors.鐘炯源醫生，主攻心理學，業余亦是一位不折不扣的學者及書畫愛好者。八十年代旅居香港期間，與嶺南畫家結下深厚友誼，所藏書畫多有畫家為其題款。又熱衷攝影，並於1984年至1987年間先後擔任香港沙龍影友協會副會長、會長一職。其後移居澳洲。2015及2016年間，我行香港及悉尼分部分別推出鐘醫生收藏中的部分中國書畫、古籍、及工藝品，成績斐然。而今鐘醫生辭世，我行有幸再次受托，以此輯書畫共饗仝好。显示更多显示更少
