A Charles II carved walnut armchair, circa 1680, the shaped back with central carved panel, surmounted by carved acanthus scrolls and flanked by acanthus carved uprights, the caned seat with a loose cushion, flanked by shaped arms with acanthus terminals, on moulded cabriole legs with scroll carved stretchers, 123cm high, 72cm wide, 73cm deep Provenance: Purchased from J. & A.
