|The current lot is an unusual and hard to come by bi-metal Speedmaster produced during the early 1980s. It is unknown how many pieces were issued but their current availability would indicate it was not a huge volume. The DD coding to the reference indicates it has a rare 14K gold bezel and is presented on a brushed steel and 14K gold 1171 link bracelet with 633 end links. There is no definitive opinion on which style of 633 end links the model was issued with but it is likely they have probably been replaced during a service as a two-tone link would seem more in keeping with the style.
