和田玉与寿山石硬度不同，篆刻工具也有不同，在篆刻上有较大难度，故以玉为材的闲章不为多见。由海派玉雕名家周立祥创作的这方闲章，则以和田玉籽料为材，更妙在其篆刻上。章体修长，章体所有棱角皆为倭角内凹，并以瓦当为钮，瓦当钮上饰以勾形回纹，两面若一。章体上阴刻“厚德载物”四字隶书，印文则为篆书“厚德载物”，古朴雅致，富有书法意蕴。题识：厚德载物印文：厚德载物款识：祥
