款识：符生氏造 底款 |此壶造型别致，秀雅文味，壶身整体秉承三代风格，圆润大气，流式匠心独具，三湾曲错，恰似天鹅长颈，流口小巧但出水顺畅，蔚为巧思。壶身镌刻虬枝苍梅，由把间自然伸展通转壶身，刀法凌厉，布局雅致，另刻铭文“品梅苍馆制”。品梅苍馆未见记载，应为文人名士之雅所，极具金石味。|邓奎，字符生，道光年间人，擅制壶、镌刻，捉刀见工，颇具古法，多用梅、竹题材；并亲自参与壶式设计，与瞿子冶、杨彭年、少峰等交往甚密，曾为瞿子冶在宜兴督造监制紫砂壶，落“符生邓奎监制”篆章，名噪一时，后期多有商业仿品拓用此款，但质量相去甚远。符生自制之壶式常落“符生氏造”四字篆书方章。
