|竹谷金之助，秋田市人。大正四年继承余银细工工厂、家业，矢志振兴工艺技术，并长年力于金工工具的开发。荣获工艺振兴功劳者，连续蝉联五年东北北海道工艺展最高一等奖。特别将精湛的金银细工技术移植海外，促进工艺产业的发展。此件银壶形态优雅含蓄，造型古朴，瓜型壶身，似能笑纳百川之势。提梁与弯流隽秀挺拔，将整件器物气势上提，稳重中提携着一丝灵气。整器铺以砂面肌理，手感细腻。圆形摘钮小巧可爱，搭配砂面器身，予人返璞归真之感。
