【形制】冲天耳炉因其形之独特、气之深广，造型仿自宋瓷二十九式其中之一。按照古人的观念，两耳朝天有沟通天地之意。被置于乾清宫内，相伴朝议，被广用于宫廷、文房、宫观、寺院、宗祠、殿堂等庄严之处。也是庙堂外文人雅士趋之若鹜之上品。【铜质】此炉铜质细腻，呈色优雅，包浆古朴，抚之即润，声音厚重，绵长微颤，为悦耳赏心音韵。入手沉坠，细润密致，持之坠手。【皮色】炉之皮色沉韵贵重，润泽古意，皮色均匀，使棉巾轻抚，其精铜尽显，细腻柔滑。【款识】底刻“大明宣德年制”楷书款，字迹深俊规整，字体肥润。收藏中的佳品来源 ；西安文物公司
