本品以金线满铺地，其上以彩线作画，分别表现了广目天王与持国天王像两尊。只见广目天王头戴宝冠，身披红袍，穿甲胄虎皮裙，踏如意宝靴，一手握一条蛇，一手捏宝珠，头顶一对风火轮，威风凛凛。“广目”意为能以净天眼随时观察世界，护持人民，故名广目天王。持国天王穿着与广目天王相似，不同为身披蓝袍，双手捧琵琶正在弹奏。 “持国”意为慈悲为怀，保护众生，护持国土，故名持国天王。两像造型生动，设色浓烈，从选料、用色、技法等多方面看，具有明代刺绣的典型风格。
