此挂屏以镂空红木为框，屏芯以白缎为地，彩绣宝塔、宅院、古树、舟船及才子佳人等。不同于传统常见粤绣的花鸟题材，描写的是传统戏剧中“百花赠剑”的故事：“元末，浙西王起义，深得人民拥护。浙西王的女儿百花，智勇双全，屦次破敌。元军抵挡不过，派奸细江云化名海俊投浙西王。百花钟情于海俊，赠剑托付终身的故事。”此屏造型生动，色彩亮丽，笔触细腻，题材罕见，是难得一见的清代广绣精品之作。
