此壶泥色深紫细腻，壶形略似宫灯，壶身圆浑饱满，三弯流、细壶把秀气精巧，圆盖塔尖钮。其工艺制作严谨，以徒手拍身筒成型，而能做到圆转周正，内外修饰处理精到，气度不凡，颇具功力。壶底钤”朱元熙制“篆书四方印。朱元熙，清代乾隆时宜兴紫砂名家。生卒无考。工治砂壶。
