“天鸡壶”乃魏晋至唐初流行的一种饮器，多系青瓷器，也有陶质的。以壶嘴作成鸡首状而得名。在盘口壶肩部一面是鸡头，另一面是鸡尾，前后对称。汪寅仙大师在传统的基础上进行改革，壶身做成三足状，使天鸡壶这一品种加入了新的元素，历史与现代的完美结合，不失为一件收藏佳品。
