Chinese gilt bronze repoussed unto a baluster shape form, slender body, globular body with rounded shoulder and waisted prominent neck leading to a faring and banded rim, raised upon a splayed foot base. The vase characterized with four Fu bat masks with square ears suspending loop handles, two applied on the collar, and other two on lower body. With six flanges everted on neck collar terminating above the banded ribs, dividing the vessel unto six symmetrical panel. Six gilt bronze medallion embellished on the collar with scrolling clouds motif relief. The exterior delicately decorated in colorful gilt cloisonne enamel with floral motifs and variegate archaic auspicious patterns. All sets against turquoise-blue enamel ground. The design is sophisticated, rich in color and feast to the eyes, reveals its masterpiece workmanship.
