Neatly modeled ceramic statue with polychrome enamel and gold painting in high relief. The unusual figurine portrays the ascetic sage with bushy eyebrows, pierced earlobes and a stern facial expression, holding a little bird in his left hand. HEIGHT 11.5 cmWEIGHT 248.1 gramsProvenance: From the private collection of an Austrian restorer. Acquired pre-1980. condition: Very tiny restorations to tip of finger and tail of bird.
